This film's title says it all, right?
Wrong.
Wrong.
After a long-winded hour and a half run time I am disappointed to report: there is only one man staring at one goat in the film. In fact, goats play a minor role despite their prominence in the film's title. The plot has potential, but the screenwriting lacks consistency or coherency. The story flip-flops dramatically in setting from modern-day Iraq to a military camp of the late 70's without warning. The film rides the fence between comedy and drama, and never successfully utilizes either genre.
I left the film wondering, "Did I miss something?" Save your money movie-goers, I would wait until this one is released on DVD.
